Marmot was facing years of slow-slumping brand fatigue. REI stopped carrying their goods, and they were unfairly known as a ‘Costco Brand,’ despite having an origin story to rival Patagonia, plus street cred and high-performing gear to boot.

The story we wanted to tell was about harnessing the drama and unique-ness of their beginnings. Something to inspire and speak to the brave weirdo’s that love to get away from it all to find themselves.
